Stephanie’s Top Five Survey Panels (May 2012)

Posted on by

May was an even slower month for me than April with my regular survey panels. Although Global Test Market and Valued Opinions are still performing strongly for me, the other panels I’m a member of have not been sending me as many surveys that I qualify for. I’ve also not gotten invited to any Invoke focus groups or taken part in any other higher-paying opportunities. Invokes seem to be very hard to find lately. It’s been a frustrating month for me, overall. However, some months are just slower than others and that’s something you have to put up with when you’re a survey-taker.

I received several product tests again this mouth including food, lotion, shampoo and conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, and makeup. Most of these tests came from Synovate, Global Test Market, and Zoom Panel.

Rankings are based mainly on what I earned for the month from each survey company, as well as the number of survey invites.

Here are my current top earners for May:

  1. Global Test Market
      • Total Earned Since Joining: $525.00
      • Total Earned in May: $25.00
      • Last Payment Requested: $50.00 check on April 30, 2012
      • Joined: September 21, 2008

I’m doing really well with Global Test Market this year. I’ve already cashed out a few times with them and I’m very close to cashing out again soon. I believe I’m currently at 925 points and it takes 1000 points to cash out for a $50.00 check. Surveys seem to come less frequently when I’m almost ready to cash out, though. I’m not sure what that’s all about, but it can be frustrating at times. I also wish their checks came earlier in the mail. All in all, though, I’ve been very pleased with them lately and I enjoy taking their surveys.

  2. Valued Opinions
      • Total Earned Since Joining: $550.00
      • Total Earned in May: $15.00
      • Last Payment Requested: $20.00 Amazon.com gift card on May 24, 2012
      • Joined: September 5, 2008

Valued Opinions is still a strong performer for me. I receive several surveys from them a week and qualify for most of them as long as I take them when I first get the invitation email. They also finally credited about $20.00 worth of survey credit to my account, which I was really happy about. That money seemed to be sitting in my account waiting to be verified forever. So, I was able to cash out twice this month for two $20.00 Amazon.com gift cards (one on May 1 and another on May 24). I have about $15.00 more remaining in my account to be verified, so hopefully I will be able to cash out again soon.

  3. MySurvey
      • Total Earned Since Joining: $635.00
      • Total Earned in May: $10.00
      • Last Payment Requested: $25.00 Amazon.com gift card on April 24, 2012
      • Joined: October 22, 2008

MySurvey has been sending a lot of surveys to me lately, although I still need a few more points to cash out. I took a week-long beverage survey with them in May and that gave me more points than usual. I’m hoping to cash out again with them in June.

  4. Opinion Outpost
      • Total Earned Since Joining: $710.00
      • Total Earned in May: $10.00
      • Last Payment Requested: $10.00 PayPal on May 31, 2012
      • Joined: August 12, 2008

I’ve been trying to give Opinion Outpost another shot lately, although I haven’t been doing that well with them since their merger. I’m always getting annoying magazine surveys from them for magazines I don’t even read despite updating my profiles. I do attempt their Instant Win game at the end of surveys once in a while. I won a couple bucks this month doing that, which isn’t very much. I know some people really love them, while others really hate them. I just miss the old Opinion Outpost. I wish I had better things to say about them.

  5. Ipsos i-Say

      • Total Earned in May: $10.00
      • Last Payment Requested: $10.00 Amazon.com gift card on May 18, 2012
      • Joined: September 16, 2008

I did semi-well with Ipsos i-Say this month. They’ve been sending me a lot of surveys lately and I was able to cash out with them again. I’m very close to cashing out with them again soon for another Amazon.com gift card.

Anyone else use Ibotta for their electronics purchases? I used it for groceries and drug store purchases and am amazed by it so far....
