Stephanie’s Top Five Survey Panels (July 2012)

Posted on by

July was another slow month for me, but mainly because I had a very busy month and was on vacation for part of it. I still managed to work on some surveys during my vacation, though, as I brought my laptop along.

I still received a lot of surveys from Global Test Market and Valued Opinions. The other survey panels were a bit slow for me, however. I also didn’t get invited to any online focus groups again. I am a member of several online bulletin boards that pay in Amazon.com gift cards each month, so a lot of my cash has been coming from those lately.

July was probably one of my best months so far for getting product tests. I got multiple shipments to my door every week and although I really enjoy product tests, it was a little overwhelming. Still, it’s fun to try new products. The product tests I received include soup, jerky, several boxes of instant oatmeal, cereal bars, cereal, moisturizer, shampoo, conditioner, scalp treatment, cleanser, body wash, liquid foundation, perfume, disposable shavers, cat litter, toilet paper, paper towels, and sunscreen. I’m probably leaving out a few because I received so many. Most of my product tests came from Synovate, MySurvey, Opinion Outpost, Zoom Panel, Ipsos i-Say, and Mindfield Online.

Rankings are based mainly on what I earned for the month from each survey company, as well as the number of survey invites.

Here are my current top earners for July:

  1. Global Test Market
      • Total Earned Since Joining: $600.00
      • Total Earned in July: $20.00
      • Last Payment Requested: $50.00 check on June 22, 2012
      • Joined: September 21, 2008

I’m still going strong with Global Test Market, although surveys have gotten a little less plentiful the past month. I’m currently at about 600 points, so I have a little ways to go before cashing out again. Hopefully I can cash out again sometime in August.

  2. Valued Opinions
      • Total Earned Since Joining: $580.00
      • Total Earned in July: $15.00
      • Last Payment Requested: $20.00 Amazon.com gift card on July 13, 2012
      • Joined: September 5, 2008

Valued Opinions is still my second favorite survey panel because I’m always getting surveys from them that I qualify for. I just wish they’d verify survey rewards more quickly. I have about $20 pending verification right now and am waiting to get a few extra dollars so I can cash out again.

  3. SurveySavvy
      • Total Earned Since Joining: $280.00
      • Total Earned in July: $12.00
      • Last Payment Requested: $49.00 check on July 14, 2012
      • Joined: July 10, 2009

I’ve been a member of SurveySavvy for a few years. Normally, they haven’t performed very well for me, but I’ve noticed a pretty big increase in the number of surveys I get from them during the past few months. I usually get several surveys from them a week and qualify for the majority of them. Many of them involve technology products, which I love. My main issue with them, though, is that it takes about two months or longer to get a check delivered. I really wish they’d offer PayPal and/or Amazon.com gift cards like other survey companies. I cashed out recently and will probably be waiting a long time for the check again. Last time it took over two months. I do enjoy their surveys, though, as they are mostly fun to take and relatively short.

  4. Synovate (Global Opinion Panel)
      • Total Earned Since Joining: $255.00
      • Total Earned in July: $8.00
      • Last Payment Requested: $15.00 E-voucher on April 29, 2012
      • Joined: August 15, 2009

Synovate has been pretty good to me lately, although I haven’t cashed out with them for a while. I get the majority of my product tests from them. In July, I received a lot of different product tests from them (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, paper towels, toilet paper, oatmeal, and other things). I just wish they offered a bit more money for their surveys. It is nice that they are now offering E-vouchers (which can be used to purchase gift cards at different retailers, including Amazon.com). I personally prefer those to waiting for a check in the mail.

  5. Ipsos i-Say
      • Total Earned Since Joining: $250.00
      • Total Earned in July: $8.00
      • Last Payment Requested: $10.00 Amazon.com gift card on July 10, 2012
      • Joined: September 16, 2008

I received a few product tests from Ipsos i-Say this month, as well as a good number of surveys. They are a pretty reliable survey panel and I enjoy most of their surveys.

Anyone else use Ibotta for their electronics purchases? I used it for groceries and drug store purchases and am amazed by it so far....
