Stephanie’s Top Ten Survey Panels – July 2011

Posted on by

July was a bit of a disappointing month for me in regards to survey-taking. It just seems like I’m in a drought period; surveys are not nearly as plentiful for me as they used to be. I hope this improves in the coming months, but I’m sure the state of the economy has something to do with it. For now, though, I seem to be in a bit of a survey rut.Opinion Outpost has been slow for me this month, as has Global Test Market. I don’t get many high-paying surveys from Opinion Outpost anymore, it seems. Global Test Market has been sending me a ton of surveys, but I’ve had terrible luck qualifying for them this month. It seems like I’ve been stuck at 195 points for the past month. Toluna has also been very slow for me, although I did do a $25 phone survey (not an Invoke) recently. I did try more surveys with SurveyHead (and its other websites) this month and managed to qualify for quite a few, but it could take a while to cash out again with them because it takes a long time for some surveys to get confirmed and out of “pending” status. SurveyHead and SurveySpot didn’t even make it on my list this month for numerous reasons. I don’t know why I bother with either panel anymore, but I do sometimes and I just don’t see any improvement. Qualifying gets more and more difficult with SurveyHead and most surveys are just too long and don’t pay enough with SurveySpot. They used to be such profitable survey panels for me, but not anymore. Rankings are based mainly on what I earned for the month from each survey company, as well as the number of survey invites. Here are my current top earners for July 2011:

    1. Toluna
      • Total Earned Since Joining: $835.00
      • Total Earned in July: $30.00
      • Last Payment Requested: $20.00 check on June 20, 2011
      • Joined: August 15, 2008

I did get an Invoke in July, but unfortunately I overslept and missed it by five minutes. That was not a good start to the month as it was worth about $25. Next time I’ll remember to schedule them later in the day. I did complete an automated phone survey on grocery products for $25 recently, though. I’m currently stuck at 5,000 points and want to cash out, but finding surveys that pay more than 3,000 points is difficult lately (at least the ones that don’t take more than 10-15 minutes to complete, which I don’t bother with). Where are the Invokes and higher-paying surveys? There has been a major shortage lately.

    1. Opinion Outpost
      • Total Earned Since Joining: $573.00
      • Total Earned in July: $18.00
      • Last Payment Requested: $83.70 check on June 20, 2011/li>
      • Joined: August 12, 2008

Opinion Outpost has been very slow for me this month, although they do send a lot of surveys. They are mainly low-paying ones, though (10-15 points). Qualifying has been okay with them this month, although it could be better. I still don’t like their new slot machine game at the end of surveys you don’t qualify for. I just can’t seem to win anything. I will probably be cashing out with them again in August.

    1. SurveyHead
      • Total Earned Since Joining: $643.00
      • Total Earned in July: $15.00
      • Last Payment Requested: $25.00 Amazon gift card on April 12, 2011
      • Joined: August 15, 2008

I’ve been trying to give SurveyHead (and its other websites) another chance this month. I did manage to qualify for quite a few surveys this month, although waiting for those surveys to get out of “pending” status and not getting marked as “Invalid” for no reason is another story. I hope I can cash out again soon, although it always takes more than a month for me to get any form of payment from them. I still don’t care much for them, but I’m willing to give them another shot just to see if they’ve improved at all the past few months. I’m hoping to cash out with them next month assuming my points get out of pending status soon.

    1. MyView
      • Total Earned Since Joining: $340.00
      • Total Earned in July: $10.00
      • Last Payment Requested: $25.00 Amazon.com gift card on July 5, 2011
      • Joined: November 12, 2008

I still do well with MyView, although some days are better than others. I still get quite a few surveys each week and make it a habit to go on the website each day to look for more.

    1. MySurvey (merged with Lightspeed)
      • Total Earned Since Joining: $495.00
      • Total Earned in July: $10.00
      • Last Payment Requested: $25.00 Amazon.com gift card on July 22, 2011
      • Joined: October 22, 2008

I’m liking MySurvey more and more since they merged with Lightspeed a few months ago. I took part in a personal care survey that was worth a lot this month. I also took a far number of surveys with them. I really don’t have any issues with them anymore.

    1. GlobalTestMarket
      • Total Earned Since Joining: $350.00
      • Total Earned in July: $10.00
      • Last Payment Requested: $50.00 check on June 20, 2011
      • Joined: September 21, 2008

Global Test Market has been a big disappointment for me this month. I just can’t seem to qualify for their surveys lately. They send me a lot each week, but I only maybe qualify for one or two. It’s just been a terrible month with them. I seem to be stuck at 195 points and I have no clue when I’ll get more points. Also, the last check they sent me seemed to take forever to get processed. I really wish they’d offer PayPal or Amazon gift cards so it doesn’t take as long to get payment.

    1. Synovate (Global Opinion Panel)
      • Total Earned Since Joining: $180.00
      • Total Earned in July: $10.00
      • Last Payment Requested: $25.00 e-voucher on July 31, 2011
      • Joined: August 15, 2009

I continue to get a steady flow of product tests from Synovate (mainly body care products), which I enjoy, even if I don’t get paid much for doing them. I like how straightforward their surveys are. They’re also pretty short, for the most part.

    1. E-Rewards
      • Total Earned Since Joining: $145.00
      • Total Earned in July: $10.00
      • Last Payment Requested: $25.00 GameStop gift card on May, 23 2011
      • Joined: September 4, 2010

I’m still enjoying E-Rewards and the Gamestop gift cards I get from them. I continue to get a lot of surveys from them each month. Racking up points seems to go pretty quickly and I like that they offer a small reward even if you don’t qualify for a survey, which is awesome.

    1. Valued Opinions
      • Total Earned Since Joining: $372.00
      • Total Earned in July: $7.00
      • Last Payment Requested: $20.00 Amazon.com gift card on July 27, 2011
      • Joined: September 5, 2008

I didn’t get many surveys from Valued Opinions this month that I qualified for. It’s been a very slow month with them. I did cash out recently, though.

    1. Ipsos I-Say
      • Total Earned Since Joining: $142.00
      • Total Earned in July: $7.00
      • Last Payment Requested: $20.00 Amazon gift card on July 27, 2011
      • Joined: September 16, 2008

I got a couple more product tests from Ipsos in July (mainly laundry detergent and dishwashing liquid), which is always nice. They seem to be offering more product tests lately, which I like. I get several surveys from them each week. Do you have a list of favorite survey panels? Please leave a comment below and let us know some of the survey panels that work best for you.

Anyone else use Ibotta for their electronics purchases? I used it for groceries and drug store purchases and am amazed by it so far....
