My Review of iPoll

iPoll (formerly Surveyhead) is a part of the United Sample Network, a big part of the market research community. They're also known as uSamp and have another panel called Opinion Place. iPoll is very heavily mobile focused, so you can take surveys on your phone and get paid for them. If you have some downtime during a bus or train ride during the day, this is a good option. iPoll pays cash via PayPal which is nice too.

    Not worth it

I always get the prompt saying surveys available, yet when I try to attempt one it always tells me "that survey was not a good fit for you". I have to attempt many polls before I actually get one that lets me survey, and then half way through it I get the same message and it closes said survey. A complete waste of time.

    GOOD CHANGES

After a much needed revamp they no longer take forever to approve surveys. Now everything is done pretty much instantly and the best part is if you cash out to paypal that happens almost instantly as well. I've managed to make about $100 in a month from them in my free time. I only wish the cash out threshold was $10 or so. $25 is a bit high for a threshold IMHO.

I have been with ipoll since May 2015. They have been slow to approve your submissions and slow to make payment. I currently have submissions that are 60 days old. At a minimum it will be another 30 days before I receive my payment. Ridiculous.

I've used Ipoll before and requested payment in the form of an Amazon Gift Card and it never tooks this long. I requested on 8/13 an AGC and it's still pending. I know they said it could take 6 to 8 weeks to verify, but seriously. I can't believe it says that it's still pending.

    Something has changed

They were fine for about a year. But this past month or two, (July & August 2015), they aren't keeping up with the Walmart $50 certificates they owe me. I emailed 3 times before they responded that they ran out of certificates, but something smells funny. I emailed again with no response. Cash flow problems? Holding back to make financial statements look better before selling out? I don't know.

    iPoll Ate My Surveys!

I had already joined a few survey sites and after joining iPoll there were times I would finish a survey for other survey sites and they would take me to iPoll at the end and I would get no reward on the original site that I started the survey and no award on iPoll either for those surveys. After having this happen 4 or 5 times I closed my account there. I haven't had this problem with any other site!

You may actually start receiving your social security before you see your money from ipoll. They can pay well but you would think they are getting interest on your money for how long it takes you to get paid, and it seems slower and slower.

NO MONEY TO BE MADE HERE!

iPoll surveys are not worth the time and effort. Money takes too long to become available after taking part in surveys. Company has little credibility, as they like to close your account with no real explanation to you; and not pay you for your work. iPoll is inconsistent about sending you surveys to participate in.

    Worst Frauds & Cheats

They've cheated me for the last time. They violate their own terms, and of course, they aren't responsible. They are handsomely paid for submitting our answers then fail to pay us, even tho we complete the surveys. FRAUDS! They lie and say WE did not comply, or the error we encountered could not be traced to its source, AFTER the survey was finally finished. They grossly underestimate the time needed to complete surveys. I nearly fell asleep. They'll squirm their way around our complaint that they are breaking their own terms. But they " are sorry for the inconvenience." I don't want their Sorry, I want my money!! It was a couple dollars for a boring survey. I hate frauds and cheats. I promised them I'd write an honest review of their company and their practices. Here is the first of those. Don't add to their wealth at your expense. You're nothing but a trip to the bank to them.

The Good and the Bad of Survey Sites

iPoll offers many opportunities to complete surveys. Once you have prequalified for surveys, the site will regularly send new surveys to take. Along with online surveys you also have the option of using mobile apps to complete tasks. However, that is about where the good ends with this site. Getting rewards and money is quite difficult and lengthy. Often, once you have reached the goal for cashing in on your work, a glitch in your account or a negative response to your survey answers will arise and prevent you from being rewarded. Although, these instances can sometimes be cleared up, again, it is a lengthy process and met with unhelpful customer service.

I took a couple of surveys on ipoll three weeks ago and my payment for them is still pending. I should be paid for my work upon completion. This is something that other survey sites do better. As soon as these surveys are no long pending I will be able to cash out and get paid, which is the whole reason I take surveys online in the first place.

    Clear Payments

The best thing about iPoll is that you can see how much they are going to pay you for each survey before you even take it. And the reward is in dollars, not in points, so it's even more straightforward. And they give you an estimate of how long the survey will take which is really helpful. I feel comfortable taking surveys during my free time because I know how long it will take.

    Good and Bad

The Good: It seems like there's an endless supply of available surveys to take. Even if the one in the email invite is not valid there are lots listed on your dashboard on the iPoll website. They are also upfront about how long the surveys will take and how much you will earn. The Bad: They don't credit you for surveys immediately and you have to accumulate a lot of points before you can cash out for cash (instead of dumb magazines). I also don't always qualify for all of the surveys they send me.

It seems like most of the rewards options with ipoll are magazines. There are so many easier ways to not pay for magazines, i wouldn't take hours of surveys if that were the only prize. ipoll does offer amazon and cvs cards and paypal cash, but only at higher point values. who knows how long that will take..... also it looks like they are charging 3% on the paypal payouts which seems unfair to me.

    iPoll is a scam

Ipoll is a scam. The $5 they promise for signing up is not collectible until you earn much more -- which is impossible to do. There are too many half-truths and omissions in its promotions to say that this site is merely bad. There is some fraud involved when you consider that they advertise that you can get Amazon cards and other credits. As a practical matter, this will never happen. Users get rejected from most surveys but only answering many questions and then earn only a dollar or two for the few surveys that let them through. Then the company takes forever to approve the few dollars of rewards that people do manage to eke out. If you have anything less than $25, the "rewards" consist of things like bad magazines that you wouldn't ever pay for and that you could probably get for free anyway. Most sane people will walk away without ever collecting anything, but it will take them hours to find out how futile the site is.

Be careful with this survey company. I have been a member since 2009 and have had my account locked 2 times. Like someone else mentioned, they are quick to invalidate your surveys and give you no reason why. When you get 3 or more invalid surveys they will lock your account so you are not eligible for any surveys and not able to cash out if you have any amount pending. Answer surveys accurately and carefully and if you can keep track of which survey was which until it clears so you know what survey they invalidated, if any. On the other hand, you get $5 to sign up, which is nice head start towards your cash out. They have nice rewards starting at $25 from Visa e-gift cards, lots of other e-gift cards as well, and Paypal. You might need to log into your account daily, I stopped receiving survey invitations by e-mail, but if you log in you are able to see all the surveys available. The surveys available are pretty well laid out, they are listed in the amount of time to complete as well as much as you will earn for completing it. If you don't log in for awhile you might have a lot of surveys that are no longer available. But, just like any other survey, you need to qualify before you are eligible for the survey and to receive a reward. When you have completed a survey, it will go into pending mode until they approve it, which may take 1-3 months. Then after you cash out, your reward can take another 4-6 weeks. They also are changing over to iPoll so will update on the change when it changes over.

I have been a member since 2009. I use it on and off. I was never impressed with it, but I continued to use them. In the three years, I have made about $170. They seem to have a lot of surveys, most of which I either don't qualify for, or I don't want to take because they are too long. I generally won't take a survey longer than 20 minutes, unless it pays over $1.00. If I spent more time on there, I would make more money. If you are going to be diligent about taking surveys, this would be a good site. Earlier this year, they added an iPhone app, which is very nice. I think they have one for the Android, too. With the app, they will send you surveys from time to time. Most are very short (less than 3 minutes). Most pay $.25, some pay up to $1.00. They also will pay $.10 for visits to local businesses. I am not sure how Surveyhead is making money with these mini secret shops, but it is nice that after I eat at a restaurant, go shop for groceries, I can fill out a shirt survey. The questions are very generic. I don't even think they ask the right questions to get any meaningful data, but it is still easy cash. The cons, as said before, they are very quick to invalidate your surveys. They will not give an explanation for it, either. Surveys through their app seem to be invalidated more often. I had a $5 secret shop (yes, the app has those every once in a while) being invalidated, despite me following the simple instructions. Ive also had some breif surveys invalidated. At least a simple email explaining the problem. Although I have the feeling it may have had to do with the 3G going out. My other gripe is that it can take a long time for surveys to be validated. I currently have a $.15 and a $.25 survey that have been pending for three months! I am on another survey panel, and they validate within 2 days.

Pros: I signed up with SurveyHead on 8/13/2012 and was paid $50 worth of Visa gift cards on 9/26. I qualified for another $25 cash out on 9/30 and requested an Amazon gift card. We'll see how long that gift card takes to clear. Cons: Though I've only been participating for about a month and a half, I already have two surveys labeled as "Invalid." I read every survey very carefully and give truthful answers. The fact that I can be shut out arbitrarily seems very unfair to me. I've noticed more than once where a survey will ask questions that don't make any sense and the only way to proceed is to give a bad answer. I think this is a trap, so that they don't have to pay. I've read here that when I get to four "invalids" I will be ineligible to take surveys. That sucks ass. Anyway, any extra income is welcome, but I have had much better luck earning cash turking. Every time I hit $10, I can request a transfer to my checking account. Some of the offerings are surveys, but mostly they are simple tasks. I make about $60 a week doing that and another $10 a week in swag.

6/21/2012 I was going through SurveyHead's reward catalog. They have moved the paypal option from the last page of $25 to the first page of $35.00. I think SurveyHead has made it clear on their motives concerning cash payouts. They don't want you to get money, but one of the other crappy rewards. I'll probably try to get up to the $35.00 cashout and be done with them. I have gotten two $25 cashouts last year without any problems but trying to get through a survey successfully is a pain and it's even worse if it gets invalidated for no reason. Time to find another site I think.

This site is not worth the time! I have had problems with taking full surveys and then it telling me it reached it's maximum participants or i wasn't qualified. I contacted customer service one time and never got a response. Yesterday I took one that was 60 minutes long and got to the final question and submitted it. It came up saying they reached the maximum number of perticipants. I contacted customer service again. This time I did get a response and was told I could not recieve any credit for taking it. I am done using this website and encourage anyone who values their time and opinion not to use it either.

Good frequency of surveys and usually good pay. It is good because you can see how long the survey is going to take you and how much you will be paid. On the down side you have to wait 4-6 weeks to see if you will get paid. If you get accepted great, but if you don't you don't get paid and if you get rejected to four surveys your account is closed. Sometimes a survey can be rejected for no reason. Also, on top of that it takes about 4 weeks to get your reward, and the only good rewards cost $25.

I signed up for SurveyHead this week because I've heard some pretty good reviews about it. After signing up, I was very surprised to see that I was given a $5 sign-up bonus. I don't recall seeing this anywhere on the registration screens, so it was a welcome surprise. After completing all of the profile surveys (which surprisingly pay $.10-.25 each), I had already earned an extra $3.20 in about 15 minutes of work. Once I returned to the home screen, my page showed that I had 39 surveys available that I may qualify for. Excited by this number, I immediately began taking their surveys rather than taking surveys from my usual sites. 38 surveys later, I've qualified for 1 survey (although it did pay $2.50), and I've been screened out of several after ~8 minutes of survey taking. I'm slightly annoyed at this point, but I'm willing to give them a couple weeks for now to see if my qualification chances improve. For now, I'm only giving them 3 stars because of the happy surprises I've noticed so far (sign-up bonus and paid profile surveys). I hope to increase my rating for them as I hope I can add them to my regular survey websites.

I have been a member of SurveyHead for about 6 months. In that time, I have made $13.30 (which is about half the amount you need to cash out on Paypal). At first, I thought the site was going to be great; they offered me a lot of surveys and I made about $13.30 in one day. However, ever since that first day, I have been screened out of many, many surveys - all of the ones I've been offered, in fact. I see that many people who have reviewed this site have had a good experience with SurveyHead, however I have not. In my opinion, there are many survey sites that are far better than this one... I wish I wouldn't have wasted my time on SurveyHead to begin with.

Hi, I have taken several surveys. After completing the survey, when I click on submit button, it takes me to error page and says "there are no servers to handle your request at this time." So I am not able to submit again or go back or refresh the page. All my survey has ended up in the same way. I write email to them after each survey but of no use. They don't reply for any of your mails. But I also see many people are getting paid. So I am still waiting to figure out what exactly is going wrong in my case. GetPaidSurveys.com note: Kumar, we suggest contacting [email protected] to see if she can help you with this. I have been a member of surveyhead for many, many years. I now find that there rewards to live up to other survey companys. Magazines only as a reward is not too appealing. Other companys offer gift cards, cash or paypal options. GetPaidSurveys.com Note: A nice thing about SurveyHead is that it DOES allow you to cash out for cash or gift cards, not just magazines, though they can be confusing to find. These are available at the $25 and $50 cashout levels, among others. To verify this, when logged in to SurveyHead, click “Rewards” then “View My Reward Catalog.” You will then be shown the $10 reward level catalog. Find the dropdown box, and choose $25. You will then be shown the catalog level you chose. Currently, Amazon.com gift cards are the first things on the list. If you want cash, click the “next” button in the lower right, and the next page of items will be displayed. Keep cycling through until you find the reward you want. Currently, cashing out via PayPal is located on the fourth page of rewards. You should note that this reward catalog is not where you go to actually cash out. It is just to look at all the rewards you can work towards. The Rewards screen holds a separate “redemption” button when you have over $10 in earnings available

surveyhead is the best survey site i have found online. ive been a member a lil over 3 months and have already cashed out well over 200 dollars to paypal. i like that you dont have to wait for a email invite to complete a survey, you can log into your account anytime day or night to see if there are any surveys avaliable. yes, there is a wait for your paypal to clear usually 3 weeks and then another one week for paypal to confirm it. but its well worth the wait. for any newcomer the reward section can be a little confusing. anything under 25 dollars just shows magazine subscrptions. but once you hit 25 dollars and up you can redeem for paypal, amazon giftcards, itunes gift cards and etc... i would defenitily recommend this site to anyone that is looking for a legit site.

I was hesitant about joining SurveyHead, as I had seen so many mixed reviews on the site. I decided to join after seeing the positive reviews from the guest bloggers on this site's blog, and I am glad that I did. In the first thirteen days that I have been a member, I have received $33.40, of which $11.65 has cleared and the rest is pending. Most days when I log in, I find multiple surveys available, and a few others that I might qualify for. (I did have a few days that had nothing). I am trying to log in at different times each day, to see if there are more surveys available at different times- so far, it seems as though early mornings have the most surveys available for me. I like that the main page says clearly what surveys are available, how much they would pay, and how many minutes it would take to complete. This lets me avoid taking any surveys that pay, say $0.50 for 45 minutes work, but try to qualify for the ones that pay $5.00 for 8 minutes right away. I also like that I qualified already for a $25.00 research opportunity, (not included in my pay total so far) and have had other possible focus groups and other types of surveys already in the surveys I've taken. Unfortunately, I screened out of most of those, but it is nice to know that they are available, and hopefully I'll get in one soon. I DON'T like the fact that you can only cash in for particular amounts ($25 is the first level to get PayPal) and I don't like the fact that it apparently takes a LONG time to get rewarded once you cash out. (It is stated on the site terms that it will be a while). I also don't like the fact that they DO offer some surveys that are drawing entries only or miniscule rewards. However, since I can avoid those if I want to, I'm not too picky. The only question I have sent in to their customer service so far took one week to get a reply, but it did include an apology for the late reply, which at least makes me feel that they try to reply sooner when they can. I think that this could definitely be a good survey panel for me, and if I continue at the rate I have started, it will be more than worth the time. For all you out there who are undecided, go ahead and take a chance! You don't have much to lose!

Site seems good overall but my number one gripe is that I never seem to be able to qualify for any of their surveys. I've only done the one since I've joined. At this rate I'm sure to reach the magic $25.00 payout in a few years time. It's a shame because this site looks very promising and rewarding based off the survey's I've seen but haven't been able to do.

I have been a member for several months and do get quite a few surveys. They credit you about 3 weeks. The thing I hate the most is after you wait up to a month for them to credit you, you then cash out and that can take up to another month. I cashed out for $25 for an amazon gift card and they say it can take about for 4 weeks to receive the reward. I cashed out for an amazon gift card from Clear Voice Surveys later that night and it sent me the code for my gift card immediately. I don't know why it takes so long for Survey Head.

I joined in Surveyhead in April 2011 and I managed to cash out 7 times before my dashboard was shut off because of too many invalids. Surveyhead was one my best sites. You get $5 for signing up and 10 or 25 cents for every profile you complete. I logged into their site multiple times a day to see what surveys were available. I rarely received e-mails telling me that I had surveys on my dashboard. There are always plenty of surveys to take but be prepared to disqualify a lot. Being disqualified never bugged me too much because I usually disqualified within the first few questions versus other survey sites that disqualify you 30 minutes into a survey. Also you have to be really patient with Surveyhead. Their surveys can pend for up to 6 weeks, and then on top of that their cashouts take up to 4 weeks to be confirmed. The paypal and gift cards start at $25. If one of your surveys is marked invalid you probably will never know why. Surveyhead doesn’t know why their clients mark a survey invalid, but the possible reasons are you straightline the survey or you speed through the survey. I know I didn’t speed or straightline the surveys, so it was pretty hard to avoid the invalids if they can’t tell me why I’m getting them. I told their customer service (Jessica) that I do my best to answer the surveys honestly and she responded that ‘their clients have the right to reject any data they don’t see fit.’ But if you get more than 4 invalids on your account in 1 year then your dashboard is turned off. I was penalized and I don’t even know why and neither does Surveyhead. That made me mad, but there are two upsides. One is that your surveys still will become ‘earned’ and you can still cash out even though your dashboard is turned off. The second is Surveyhead has some similar sites that offer the same surveys, so I signed up for Focusline and am now doing surveys there. So the bottom line is Surveyhead is great but requires some patience, and when you have a problem Jessica ([email protected]) responds very quickly.

I have been doing online surveys for the last 4 years. I am registered with many different survey companies. There is not a single one that is infallible in all aspects; Surveyhead is no different. The difference is that Surveyhead's surveys offer a very high (relatively speaking) reward for completed surveys. This site is always one of the first on my list that I check every day for survey opportunities. One must, however, be very patient. It does take a long time to accumulate enough to cash out (as it is with all survey sites), but the Cash-Out is worth the wait compared to most other sites. If you are a patient individual and do not expect any survey site to provide enough income to substitute for a job, then I recommend this site.

Original Review (May 22, 2011) I’ve been a member since March 2011. Haven’t received many email surveys but find quite a few surveys on the website’s dashboard. The surveys are pretty quick and although I haven’t qualified for many I’m still accumulating a lot of survey dollars. I’ve also found the wait time for pending rewards long, usually 3 to 4 weeks. This is an update to my review of of May 22, 2011. I still enjoy doing their surveys but have questioned their survey validation. I requested a cash out of $25 from Survey Head and the next day when I visited the site I noticed that some of the surveys I had pending since May were marked Invalid. I questioned this, sent an email to support and received a generic response back (4 business days later). The generic response was that it was within the clients rights to reject data not consistent with other interviews??? They say it's not personal . I answer questions honestly (which is what I thought the whole process was about). This is the only site, of the ones that I'm a member of, that does this. I am curious to know how many survey takers are having this problem. I've read a few reviews below with the same problem. Kim

Surveyhead is a great site to log in to multiple times a day. (Unlike most panels, Surveyhead frequently keeps more surveys directly in your user dashboard rather than always sending out email invites to individual surveys - though they do email some.) Surveyhead tends to have the highest number of surveys available than many of the other panels I use, and I find that I qualify for a fair number of surveys. However, Surveyhead has several faults, as many have mentioned already. First - payment time is horrible. It can take weeks - months for pending survey amounts to be confirmed. Once reaching the payout level, it then takes another month or so for your request to be confirmed, and then several more months for the payment to be processed. Secondly - I run into quite a bit of technical difficulties, both with the site itself and with various surveys. I'm at the point where I tend to stay away from surveys that last more than 20 minutes, simply because I'm afraid of spending too much time on a survey that will fail half-way through. Thirdly, customer support is pretty bad. Even when I've been able to prove with a screen capture that I have completed various surveys, I have been denied payment for several of them. So while Surveyhead is not the best run panel you can join, I still spend a fair amount of time with it due to the sheer number of surveys available with decent payouts.

They send surveys frequently, almost everyday, and I qualify for almost everyone! It does take awhile to add up, since you have to reach the minimum payout, and have to wait for it to clear so they verify you did complete the survey, but it's well worth it in the end! I've made over $400 in the past year, and the rewards do take awhile to come, but again well worth the wait!

I use to think that surveyhead was a great site. I never had any problems with them. They are slow at verifying surveys and sending your rewards. Today they marked in my account 4 surveys I recently took as invalid. I e-mailed Jessica and she responded within a few hours. She gave me a generic response as to possible reasons why these surveys were marked invalid and also told me that I will still be getting my paypal reward and these invalid surveys won't affect that. I am happy about getting my reward but am still confused as to why these surveys are invalid. I have been also noticing that they are now paying less rewards and there are more I-pad entry surveys which I won't do. If anyone has a problem, do e-mail Jessica because she does respond. I will continue being a panel member with them and hope for the best!!!

Survey Head is a loyal site which add surveys frequently. Their survey length varies from very short surveys of 5 minutes to 30 minutes. But they provide a very decent rewards ranging between .50 and 1.50$, depending up on the survey length. The rewarded money will be added to the account within two or three weeks and it is easy to reach the minimum cash out threshold. The only disappointing factor about Survey head is its slow payouts which takes more than 7 weeks . Overall it is a rewarding site and it is worth the time I spend on surveys.

I belong to 29(yes 29) survey panels... before you say I have a lot of time on my hands.. I do.. well sort of. I am disabled and can no longer work so yes my PC is my friend. SurveyHead is probably one of the easiest to do (except finding where to do this review... lol). The problem is that you wait so long to get your rewards... I had to print up a page to show my brother what I could pick out for him for Christmas (by the way today is Christmas). Rewards pending? What being a girl scout wasn't good enough and they think I'm lying? Half of them I don't qualify for because I don't lie (wish I did have a child under 4 with a taste for half the stuff they ask... and no I don't have an Ipod or even an xbox 360 (remember that disabled thing i mentioned? lol). Once I checked off cancer and I was told I didn't qualify for that survey... talk about feeling like a pile of ..well you get my drift. I needed 55 to get to 25.00 (I have 34 something pending rewards included) Wanted to write to see if I could send them the .45 cents so I could cash in! lol The quantity of surveys does dwindle (yes i read the other reviews too.) But I go right to Surveyhead.com and check from there..easier that way. Now back to the rewards list..check out what you can get or 25.00 then go to the 30.00 rewards..not going to tell you why but it boggled my head. But then again..think about it..all you are doing is giving your opinion (and not getting slapped or put in a time-out.. and in the end...you get a prize.. and you get to let off a little steam in here.. cheaper than therapy I say (no offense to therapists..been to a few myself) anyhoose(yes thats a word) all in all I'll keep doing the surveys ...all it cost is time..and coffee ..lots of coffee.. lol...

Yes they offer lots of surveys, but many are for OTX/Opinionshere. (Never bother with ANY OTX survey – On ANY survey site. I wouldnt even do a one minute survey from them even if they offer $50…. You simply will not be paid!) The amount paid per survey is usually good, but often takes a VERY long time to credit to your account- often times 30-45 days. Also, as of today, I am still waiting for credit for one survey I took 11 months ago! They also have almost non-existant customer service- out of 9 times I have had a question about my account, they have only replied once. All in all, Surveyhead is better than some sites, but still not worth your time when compared to good sites like Opinion Outpost, Lightspeed or Ipsos I-Say.

Surveyhead, like any other survey panel, just depends on your luck that you can qualify for certain surveys. Even at that, I started off getting loads of surveys, at least one a day. After a week, I would stop getting any, and if I did, I couldn't even qualify. One of the surveys gives 75 cents, but it forwards you to a second site, and after doing that survey three times, I've gotten nothing. Unless you're lucky, this panel is worthless

I’ve been with SurveyHead since 2008 and earned over $500 from them so far. They offer a $5 incentive for signing up and give you a little money for completing your profile surveys, which is nice. Minimum cash-out is $25, but it doesn’t take too long to get there if you’re really diligent. I haven’t had much experience with their customer service, except that I did email them a couple times about some technical issues in a survey a few months ago and never got a response. One warning about this panel: it takes FOREVER to get paid. I know others have complained about this. They pay through PayPal, which normally should not take that long, but it has literally taken about 2 months for me to get payment sometimes. It wasn’t so bad the last time I cashed out (it took about a month, which was actually pretty quick for SurveyHead), but the times I’ve cashed out before, it took at least 2 months. They do pay, though; you just have to be really patient, which I know can be frustrating. They also offer gift cards (like Amazon.com and VISA), but I haven’t had any experience with those because I prefer PayPal. Also, it can take a long time for surveys to get confirmed, which is annoying. Surveys can remain pending for weeks or sometimes even months. Sometimes surveys will be marked as “invalid” for little to no reason, so you can’t receive credit for the survey. It’s frustrating, but this happens sometimes. It’s happened a few times to me already. I tend to run into a lot of technical issues with SurveyHead (not as many as SurveySpot, though), especially if the surveys are video-related. I remember a few months ago when they were offering $8-10 surveys for giving your opinion about a TV show that you watch in your browser window. Well, I kept getting booted every time I tried doing the surveys because the video just refused to work correctly (even though I was doing the surveys in IE and had the right plug-ins). When I was finally able to get the videos to work correctly, I would get booted from the survey after spending over 30-60 minutes watching a TV show. It would then tell me I “didn’t qualify.” It was very frustrating. This happened on several occasions until I finally just gave up and ignored the movie surveys on my dashboard. The amount of surveys seems to have gone down for me in recent months for me. Also, it seems like they are not paying as much as they used to for longer surveys. Just today I got a 30-min survey for 75 cents, which I passed on. They also seem to have more and more 15 min.+ surveys offered for just 50 cents. It’s also annoying to get surveys I clearly do not qualify for (like surveys having to do with children, smoking, or drinking), even though I stated in my profiles that I don’t have children and don’t drink. I do still check them daily, though, and reload my browser throughout the day when I have time to see if anything new pops up. There are also a few OTX surveys that pop up from time to time. I try these, but I usually do not qualify. The parent company that runs SurveyHead also runs several duplicate websites (which look very similar to SurveyHead and have a similar layout with dashboard, profiles, etc.). These include FocusLine, OnlyCashSurveys, Edu Research, RewardPort, Vizu Panel, BigSpot, and now BuzzBack. You can be a member of all of the sites, but once you take a survey from one, it will most likely be gone on the other sites. I’m a member of five of them and usually just stick to SurveyHead. I find that there really isn’t much benefit from being members of all the duplicate sites if you’re already a member of SurveyHead because they offer the same surveys most of the time. I find it’s best not to spread yourself too thin and to concentrate on one or two sites so you can cash out quickly. Once in a while, I’ll get a survey that isn’t offered at SurveyHead that I qualify for at one of the other sites, but it hardly ever happens, at least in my case. Even though surveys from them have been getting more and more infrequent over the past few months and technical problems have gotten a little more frequent than usual, SurveyHead is still in my top 10, though more toward the bottom right now. You just have to remember that often survey invites come in cycles; some months there will hardly be any invites, while other months, I’ll get tons of high-paying surveys. It just depends. I’ve noticed I get more surveys during the holidays, especially surveys requiring you to watch commercials, which is always good. I have earned a lot from them and they are worth it as long as you’re patient and keep up with the surveys on the site by checking often daily.

Now my payments are received a lot faster but there aren't nearly as many surveys. It is also annoying that I need to login every day to view the survey offerings unlike most sites that send email invitations. That being said, most of the surveys that I have taken have been fairly compensated and are interesting. It would be nice if they would make a few more improvements but Surveyhead is definitely on its way up. I would recommend joining this site.

Very frustrated with lack of an answer as to why my surveys went from pending to invalid. Too bad as I was off to a very good start but I will cash out the rest when my pending reaches the next threshhold and probably drop them unless they improve.

You're going to want to join Surveyhead for a couple good reasons. You are going to be introduced to many new products and product ideas. It's your chance to let them know what you think is very useful, tasty, tempting, and hot or you can tell them when it's not such a great idea or product and why. Working with them, being candid and honest is the best way for them to develop the best products that can be made. It's a great way to earn a little money in your spare time as most surveys are under 20 mins. If you are lucky, you are going to get some full size samples of everything from Laundry products to food items and a few odds and ends along the way...just for letting them know what you think of their products. Signing up is free, the surveys show up in your mailbox or you can check on their site for lots of extras..so put a little or a lot of time in this to make a huge difference in the products that you already buy. Sure, it takes some time for the reward to come through to you, but it will come. I find that it usually takes a good 3 months for the entire process to go through, but they have not missed one single payment to me. I trade my points into cash that goes into my paypal account. They send emails to keep you updated on the process and you can check your point balance right after you sign in. You need 25 dollars to cash out but they give you some of the highest amounts of money for completed, carefully done surveys. Take your time, do it right and we all win with better products coming our way. Make your opinions count and earn some money doing it.

Surveyhead has lots of surveys which would have decent payouts IF THEY ACTUALLY PAID. I have been paid several times by surveyhead, although it takes 4-6 months in the best cases. First it is pending for a couple of months, then processing, then it is still processing, then you want another couple of months. Still, I tolerate this willingly from Globaltestmarket because they actually credit you for surveys that you take. Surveyhead does not. Surveyhead does not respond to e-mails. Surveyhead surveys are listed as pending, until they can be checked. I now have enough experience that I can tell while I am taking a survy that I will not ever reeceive credit. Their system is terrible. They list a survey as worth, say $1. You are then taken to Toluna, or OTX, where YOU ARE ASSIGNED A RANDOM SURVEY. If the survey takes 40 minutes, you will get your dollar, even if you falsify your info. If the survey lasts 5 minutes and THEIR payout from OTX or Toluna is not sufficient, then it will be marked INVALID and you will be told that you falsified information, even though you answered every question thoughtfully and honestly. I am posting this because I just took a survey on their site in the last fifteen minutes and know, because it was one of those Greenfield "On another subject" surveys that has many short questions on differenty topics, that I WILL NEVER GET A DIME FOR IT. This really angers me. I would feel better about them if they A) answered my e-mails, B)just admitted that some of their surveys don't pay the amount listed, or anything at all, for that matter, C) they could spend up the approval or payout process. I currently have pending credits on their site for surveys that I completed SIX MONTHS AGO. I understand that they have to want until the study ends, maybe two or three weeks, but anyone who has taken online surveys knows that most surveys close in a day or two, a week tops, and not six months. Highly not recommended.

I take surveys from Surveyhead and have cashed out about 2 times since I joined. The first time I requested a $25.00 Amazon.com gift certificate and the 2nd time I requested $25.00 payment via Paypal. I must say that there are times when I was doing a survey from Surveyhead and don't qualify--which is disappointing. I cannot see how everyone says they have earned all this money doing surveys, they must qualify for every survey from Surveyhead in order to get all this money. It would be nice if Surveyhead could give points to people who don't qualify like MyView.com does.

Then they provide any surveys to fill up after that , so i can't reach the minimum pay out required .Nice strategy ..

I had the reward pending in my account for over 4 months and had contacted lots of times to customer support but never got a response and them I found this email address for customer support :[email protected], I emailed there and finally got response. I joined SurveyHead on February 6, 2010 and have received $90.00 to date via PayPal. At this writing (6-19-10) I have requested another $60.00 and have just received confirmation that the award has been approved and I can expect it in a few days. During my short tenure with this company I have had a few questions which were responded to quickly and to my complete satisfaction. I have learned that the survey process and rules (with all companies) are somewhat different than what one may be accustomed to. I can only assume that failure to understand the survey taking process may be the facilitator of disappointment and negative reports. I've got no reason to lies so here's the Bottom Line: If you want surveys and want to be paid, join SurveyHead today!!! If you do they will pay you $5.00 just for signing up.

Ive been taking surveys here for one year, and although you are able to try to qualify for many every day, you will most likely not be able to complete 8 out of 10. Not too big a deal, but even when you complete a survey, they take 2-3 months to actually credit that money to your account. I am still waiting for the $1 credit from one survey I took 6 months ago,and customer support will not answer my e-mails. I was able to cash out one time, but by the time they credit you for past surveys enough to make the minimum $25 cashout, you have another $10-15 waiting and uncredited to keep you coming back to take more surveys- its a revolving door to keep you on the hook- Theres plenty of other honest sites out there to waste your time here

This site starts off good. You get a bunch of surveys and earn money pretty quickly. People do mention that you take many surveys that say you do not qualify but only after you spent 15 minutes or more on it! I think people either are really patient or they do not take the time to gripe. You will get a response from the company but it is a generic, "We are sorry, we are overloaded with pending surveys, " or something to the effect of this. My issue was fixed eventually but it's not worth all of that work if I have to do it every 25 dollars!!!

I joined Survey head about 3 months ago, there have been numerous opportunities to take paid surveys. I must admit I do not always qualify but then there are days I do qualify quite a bit. I am completely new to survey taking membership, and am only a member of 3 companies. I have read a lot of negative reviews about surveyhead, primarily about there slow paying process. I figured I would test them out and see. I am a member who has taken surveys and unfortunately has noticed in my account that completed surveys have taken over 6 weeks to be approved for pay. I can also admit that I too have requested cash out of $25 about 4 weeks ago and to date have not seen a payment in my PayPal. I have read further and certainly understand why it takes a while so I am patient waiting as the surveys are of great quality. I have sent over 3 emails regarding survey technical difficulties and never once have I ever received a response. However I did read a review response above from admin who stated the inside difficulties that the company has undergone, so being in the upper management area I certainly understand. It would be appropriate for the surveyhead admin to post a general message to all members informing them of that. This way members’ do not immediately access a negative review and or do not get discouraged about participating. I have referred two other members to Surveyhead just recently, for which I believe will be successful. I cannot at the current time give a full honest rating opinion about the Rewards & Incentives or The Member Area & Support as I have yet to receive either. I am with the hopes that all the insider admin situations get straightened out at which time I would be happy to return and re-rate these categories. I would like to explain that I rated 3 stars for Rewards and Incentives as I believe the offers for the actual surveys are great, however when I actually get a payout I would be more enthused to access a more fair rating. The Member Area & Support rating in my view is that The Member area is excellent for members to track their survey history as the dash board is a vey organized area, however to date I have never received any replies to any of my email submits. Once again, I would entertain returning and rewriting a more biased opinion of these two areas. Although I am only a member of 3 panels, I will give Surveyhead a thumbs up. So overall, I am a satisfied panel member, who enjoys voicing her opinions. Keep up the great quality with surveys and continued success. Thanks again for your feedback.

However, after filling out surveys for several minutes on extensive questions it tells me that I am not qualified. I am a poor college student who is not working, and completing online surveys is one way for me not to COMPLETELY break my bank account. I joined surveyhead.com on August 14, 2009. Today, 8 months later, I am still using this website to make some extra bucks. As of right now, I have cashed out $104 in that eight month time span. Sure its not much--- but when you're broke and without a job, any little bit helps!! The only minor downside is it does take FOREVERRR for them to clear surveys, and then when you request to be paid (once you hit $25), that takes over a month to be cleared. But regardless, its still beneficial & overall a wonderful website. Just wish there were more available surveys for me to take!

I have been using surveyhead for three months now, and a familiar pattern is developing - when you join, any surveys you take are quickly credited to your account, but once you get close to the cashout threshold ( I am at 19 dollars of the 25 minimum) any survey you take is no credited to your account and is listed as endlessly pending - I have some that have gone nearly 2 months without being paid out. Further, they do not respond to customer service emails.

(Those are the advertisement studies). I'm only a few dollars away from cashing out but my advice is to watch and see which kinds of surveys take the least amount of time to pend. I enjoy the surveys I get to complete with this site. However, I don't really care for the way you need to go to their web page to see the surveys you can attempt to take. I like the way other sites send you emails for any/all the surveys you could qualify for. I also have to say that they are one of the slowest at applying credit to your account. I haven't done any more suveys because I am waiting to receive my credit for the ones I already did, one of the surveys is from 1/25/10. That to me is way too long to have to wait for crediting my account. I have also requested a payout over a month ago, and still nothing. They use paypal, so it is not like they have to cut a check and mail it..... SLOW SLOW SLOW. But as I did mention, the surveys themselves are good

I spent a couple hours filling out all of the profile information, and just like other panelists who have submitted reviews, I try to take a survey, and after 10 minutes of questions, it says: "sorry, but you do not qualify for this survey". I've literally tried every survey they've made available, and thus far I have not been eligible to take a survey. All in all, it is a frustrating process. I started taking surveys with SurveyHead in April of 2009 and have earned $57.60 with them so far. I probably could've earned more but there are just so many surveys each day and between working a part-time job and keeping up with housework I simply have not had enough time to devote to it. There are usually about 10 or so (if not more) surveys you can do each day, with most being 15-20 minutes in length and ranging in value from $1-3, which I consider to be good compensation. The only problem is that they just take SO long to credit you. (I still have a $2 credit pending from 7/31/09 among others). The site itself is very user-friendly, with each survey disappearing from the list after you open the link, and the value, approximate length and percentage of chance you will qualify listed clearly next to each survey. All in all a great site for survey takers in my book. I give it an A.

Surveyhead offers surveys from a number of other sites, but the payout is real. Payment can be achieved by paypal,or Amazon.Pretty cool site. Only downfall..you have to have 25.00 in your account to cash out,but the wait is well worth it. Another downfall is surveys take awhile to be credited.2 ways to receive surveys.1. via email and 2. simply go to surveyhead.com and see if there are any surveys available to take. I like the percentage factor that is placed on the left of the survey to be taken. So you'll know what your odds of passing the survey are. Don't pass up this oppertunity to join a legit surey site, that does in fact pay out.

Ever since I've started participating in online paid surveys, I've been on the outlook for the perfect or near perfect panel for me and this one is pretty close! I wish I had joined this one sooner! I've had DREAMS where I"m doing surveys from this panel! I really like this one because you actually can go on the site daily and expect a list of surveys on your dashboard. You may not qualify for all of them, but there are plenty to try your luck at. So far I've been given several surveys where I rate and answer questions about certain TV ads. The surveys are also given by a variety of providers and are of good quality and length. The only thing I would have to say about this panel that is a drawback, right now, is that the earnings from my completed surveys are pending which can take 2-6 weeks. I would also suggest when you first sign up, you may want to check the box to get alerts when surveys are available. I didn't, and as far as email invites go, I have only recieved one. The rest of the time, I have to check the site for surveys. They pay through paypal and gift cards or you can choose to make a donation.

I have been a member of this Panel for just over an year, and in this one year so far I have earned a whopping amount of $550, which is a surprising amount to earn from surveys. They send me surveys through email at least 2-3 times a day. However, we can also take their surveys by logging into our account at their site. They have a Dashboard of surveys indicating the probability of qualifying each of them, and we immediately which ones to take. From taking their surveys I earn at least $8-$10 a day. Sometimes even I earn $25-$30 a day. We can earn such an amount in a day only from few Survey Panels, and Surveyhead is one of them. Anyone over 14 years is allowed to join this Survey Panel and take their surveys. However, this Panel also allows persons 14 to 18 years old to take their surveys with the supervision of a guardian 18 years or older. We start earning $5 just by joining this Survey Panel even before taking their surveys. Further, they pay by Paypal which is one of the preferred payment method by most survey takers, as we get our money in our Bank very easing and there is no chance of losing a check on transit. We can request for payment once we have accumulated $25 in our account, which is every easy since I earn that amount within 2-3 days from taking their surveys. One trick of earning their easy money is to log into their site once every 1-2 hours, starting from early morning. In that way we can take most of their surveys and eventually earn more. This is the only Survey Panel from where we can earn daily. In my view at present this is the #1 Survey Panel for earning easy money and I definitely recommend all eligible persons to join this Survey panel to avail the opportunity of earning taking their surveys.

    6. Surveyhead $164.05 ($25 minimum payout) (PayPal) (Joined: 2009-02-05) ($129.15 rec'd) ($26.90 req'd) I have had no problems with Surveyhead at all since I joined on February 5, 2009. Although pending incentives can take up to two months to be credited, most are credited within a week or two. It took me until May 10, 2009 to reach the $25 minimum payout level and I earned an additional $26.95 in just the next 22 days! The payment is made via PayPal within a four weeks after request. You are rewarded with $5 for signing up and $0.20 for each of the 10 profiles that you complete. Most surveys pay between $1 and $3 and often you will earn $0.20 for attempting a survey that you are disqualified from. The dashboard feature is unique among survey sites in that you see a variety of surveys along with the probability that you will qualify. The trick to earning money with Surveyhead is go to the website first thing every morning and attempt every survey available. Of course, the OTX surveys do take longer than others to complete, but Greenfield, Global Test Market, Opinion Outpost, Mindfield, QuickRewards, the Daily Survey Panel and YourFreeSurveys all use OTX.
