Have belonged to this site for about 2 years and have never earned anything worth having to date, well I think I have a balance of about £1
Surveys are structured so that they have all the info. that THEY require and then you are told that YOU DO NOT QUALIFY. Best advice - DO NOT BOTHER!!

The good thing about Toluna is that you receive a lot of invites. On the flip side I'm not too impressed with their incentives. I've found that they send out surveys for higher point amounts (3000 and up) and rarely qualify for them. I think they try to hook you into clicking on the link in the email and then offer you a lower point survey that you can qualify for. It will take me a long time to reach the 60,000. I find this a high amount to work towards for only $20. There are other survey companies that offer better incentives.

surveys are extremely time consuming and tedious. time estimates are wildly optimistic. completed surveys frequently result in no points paid. once you do rack up enough points they are very slow to pay up, im still yet to receive my amazon E-VOUCHER 2 weeks after requesting. the only plus is there are lots of surveys. im unlikely to continue use after payment, there are much better sites out there.

The quality of the surveys produced by Toluna are very good and if I were one of their clients, I would definitely keep them on a permanent contract. The surveys come very frequently but these are the only highlights of the site. As a member, I feel very let down. After spending time to complete these surveys, I expect to at least get a reply to my email if I have a query. After waiting more than 8 weeks for Amazon vouchers to be processed, the queries I have sent regarding these vouchers have not been actioned. I am still waiting for the vouchers and answers to my emails. For this reason, I will be leaving the site once I have received the payments. Toluna is a great site - when it keeps its promises.

Toluna is one of the best reward sites I have encountered. Points for prizes can be earned easily by completing polls. I have earned three billboard songs ($1 each) on the site

Much like Sam from UK, I am still awaiting vouchers that were ordered six months ago!! The first time I chased it, I was sent the link to a blog stating that they were having problems with obtaining vouchers, and that they were doing everything in their power to get it resolved. Today, I have been told that the vouchers were sent out in October, but that I have the wrong address recorded on my profile, so they are not liable to send me any replacements. Quite a contradiction. Whilst I've enjoyed completing the surveys, I think it is unacceptable to expect members to wait an inordinate amount of time without receiving their rewards. There are better and more customer focused sites out there.

To my knowledge Toluna is a best hassle free survey site which is very helpful to beginners. it offers free paid surveys and encourages people to earn money online and gives support to many families all over the world, which is highly appreciable. It also helps many companies to improve their brand quality, brand publicity, to develop new , innovative, consumer oriented and consumer friendly products. Hats off to Toluna

I've been with toluna for a while know but i never cashed out any money recently I've gotten 3 free music downloads worth $1 each for billboard music downloads. I do get allot of survey invitations but don't qualify for many of them. most of the survey's are worth over 1000 points the highest I've gotten was 6000 and these survey come 3-4 a day you can also take polls that are worth for 15 points to 75 points and make your own polls, and you can try to qualify to try out products.

Toluna are one of the companies providing surveys to Surveynetwork. I find a few times, I answer several screens of questions, not just demographics but quite a few details and THEN get told I dont qualify which I think is naughty. Apparently a requirement of the company. Just did one on TV viewing and use of internet - quite searching. I do go into a draw but they are getting too much information before disqualifying.

I have to admit this is the best survey site on the web in my opinion. Sometimes there are problems, but all websites have their problems. This has the best incentives of any of the survey groups I belong too!. Thank Toluna for being online for those of us who want to share our opinions for those marketing products available now and for the future!

I give three stars on all individual areas because I am a member of a few survey sites so it's a little hard to keep track of the quality, etc.
I am so far very pleased with Toluna. I have only been a member for a month and am already half-way to the cashout point (I have 30,000 points and it is 60,000 to redeem). I have noticed that most, if not all, of the surveys I have received that were worth 1,000+ points had already reached the number of participants they needed, even if I tried to enter the survey within an hour of receiving an email. However, there are easy ways to receive a lot of extra points on the website through sponsored polls. 0.15/poll may not seem like much but it has added up quite nicely and does not take long to do - you can even filter the polls on the website so that only the sponsored polls/surveys will show up!
I have given four stars instead of five for the overall rating because I have only been a member for a month so I have had no need for the customer support, have no idea how well the cashing out process will go, and also because a good chunk of the surveys I am sent have already reached the maximum number of participants.
But still you get entered into the monthly sweepstakes every single time you could not complete a survey, get random survey incentives, and can probably get the same amount of points that a survey offers in the same amount of time it takes to do a survey by participating in sponsored polls on the website instead.
This is so far the fastest I've progressed on a survey site! Very pleased so far!

Toluna at first wasn't all that great, I didn't like it when they bought out Your2Cents.com awhile back, because at the time Your2Cents was greatly trusted. After awhile I got used to it, and at first this site would take about 8 weeks to send their payments (as did Your2Cents) but they always arrived. They started to payout in Paypal which was nice, but for some reason they went back to checks and it's even better because now checks arrive within 3-4 weeks of requested date. Received every check!

Toluna is a pretty good survey company. They have many surveys so I check the site everyday. Some surveys pay low incentives like 2400 points(60,000points=$20),the others pay high including PT and Invoke online discussion.Except to the sweepstakes survey I take all other surveys as I don't want to miss any Invoke.Invoke pay $15-$75 per session about 1-2 hours credited with 4-6 weeks.

Toluna doesn't provide many payment options.Usually I choose check or VIP gift vouchers.Hope they will add Paypal in the future.Another thing they need to do is improve the payment processes.Checks are delayed several times. That's horrible.

Anyway I earned $320 from toluna last year and remainly in my favorite survey company list.

Toluna has been a pretty good site for me. They send surveys fairly often that usually pay at least 3000 points ($1) each. However, most of the time I don't qualify but at least the screening process is pretty fast so I don't waste too much time. The thing I like most about the site is there are "sponsored polls" that pay a few cents each that you can take every single day by logging into the site. You won't get rich taking these but they help to supplement the earnings from surveys so you can reach the payment threshold faster (it is $20 for a check). It takes Toluna a long time to get back to me when I email them about an issue. They always respond back eventually so you just have to be patient with their support. I would definitely recommend this site because the rewards definitely outweigh the few minor problems that you may run into.

I was a memeber of your 2 cents before they merged with Toluna. I have given Toulna the time they needed to work out the kinks and now I think they are a very good site.

SURVEYS: The surveys offered are done in points where 3000 points equals $1.00. Everyday in my email inbox there are roughly 3-5 surveys to take ranging in various points. While I tend to take surveys in various ranges of points it is important to look how long each survey is. If there is a 900 point survey which takes 40 minutes i'm obviously not going to take a 40 minute survey to make 30 cents. In addition you can log onto the toluna site and click the survey button and attempt to take a number of surveys daily.

POINTS CREDITED TO ACCOUNT: In the beginning it took a long time to have your points go from a incentive pending status to actually showing on your account. In the last month Toluna has really stepped their game up and points usually post in one to two days. I do recommend that each time you do complete a survey go on your toluna homepage to make sure that next to the survey you took it says incentive pending. A few times when I completed surveys it showed sweepstakes entry. Everytime I wrote to customer support regarding this problem. On only one occassion did they not respond or properly credit my account.

MORE WAYS TO EARN POINTS:Toluna offers sponsored surveys from 15 points to up to 150 points or higher. They are very easy to do and it's a great way to add points on to your account. You can also earn additional points by writing 80 plus words on opinion topics or you can create your own opinion polls to earn points.

PAYMENT:The minimum to cash out is 60,000 points/$20.00. I really liked it when Toluna offered paypal. Now for some reason they do payments by checks. I've always received the checks I requested by paypal was so much more easier to use.

CUSTOMER SERVICE: The customer service is very slow to respond to inquiries so don't be surprised if it takes what seems like forever for them to respond to your emails

OVERALL: I think Toluna is a very good site. They give you plenty of ways to earn money. They have really improved since they came into the survey scene and I would recommend them as one of the better paying sites out there.

I have been A member of Toluna for A little over A year now for quite A long time I qualified and complted the surveys and all the while not realizing how much they're points are worth. It took me 9 months to be able to cash out for 20 dollars, 9 MONTHS!!! Totally ridiculous!
Ever since they started changing things about they're site and then saying that they would have things fixed soon I have rarely been qualified to take any of they're surveys! Probably 1 in 2 months! On top of that the amount of points and how much you get paid is just pennies! They suck big time now! TOLUNA SUCKS! I am waiting for my check in the mail and well see how long that takes!

Good review Stephanie.

Yes I know what you are talking about. I signed up probably about 3 weeks ago and already have 34,000 points and probably about 15,000 pending. I stay away from the 1,200 surveys. Are you kidding me? Not worth it for 15-20 minutes. Maybe 5 minutes. I usually get 3,000-9,000 points surveys when they email me but when I log onto the site to do surveys from theyre router it's usually like 900 to 1,200 points and rarely see a 3,000 or 6,000 point survey. Infact, I got upset yesterday evening because I was doing a 9,000 point survey and guess what after like 8 minutes it says I did qualify. Could not have told me that from the beginning. Overall a decent site but not the best. That sucks they dont do pay-pal anymore. Wait 5 weeks for a check. I hate waiting so long.

I’ve been with Toluna since about mid-2008. So far, I’ve received about $300 from them. 60,000 points is the minimum cash out, which equals $20. It used to take me not that long to cash out, but lately it’s been taking much longer because I don’t seem to get as many invitations anymore or don’t qualify as often. They used to do payments through PayPal, which I really preferred, but now they are only paying through checks. I have had no issues with receiving payment, which usually takes up to 4 weeks.

Lately, I haven’t been super impressed with them. The amount of emailed surveys I get from them has gone down quite a bit. Whenever I do get a survey that pays a decent amount of points, it’s almost always filled up by the time I respond (even if I respond right away) or I don’t qualify. Also, point values for surveys seem to have decreased a lot over time. 3,000 points = $1, not $3, so it can be confusing. 900 points is only equal to a measly 30 cents or so, so you need to remember that when a survey comes up that’s 900 points for 30-50 minutes, which is just downright insulting in my opinion. I avoid those and stick to surveys that pay 3,000 points and up (unless it’s a very short one for 900 or 1,200 points, which are usually few and far between, but do occur). Even if you don’t qualify for a survey, you get entered in their monthly sweepstakes.

I rarely get surveys for more than 6,000 points or invites to online focus groups. I think I’ve maybe done one or two focus groups with them since 2008, but that’s about it. I know that sometimes 900 point surveys or surveys with sweepstakes offers only (or a blank rewards field, which is common from what I’ve heard) will lead to Invoke online focus groups (more money), but most of the time these surveys are just too long to bother with for 900 points and no guarantee of it being an Invoke or not. I rarely have the patience for that and when I do, I haven’t had much luck with it and rarely qualify. I’ve also had a few product tests with them (mainly food), but not as many as other sites.

Customer service is not the greatest, either. I had a problem with receiving surveys when I recently changed my email address, so I contacted customer service. They got back to me in a few days with a rather generic answer to my question which didn’t help me at all. I emailed them again, but never got another response. I emailed them a few more times after that, but, again, they never responded and it’s been about a month or more since then. Needless to say, their customer service is pretty poor, so don’t expect a response back from them if you have any issues.

My tips for getting the most out of Toluna are:

1.) Don’t bother with surveys lower than 3,000 points unless they are very short. 900 points (30 cents) for a survey lasting 30+ minutes is a huge waste of time in most circumstances (unless they lead to a focus group invite, which, from my experience, is pretty rare). Sometimes there are 1,200 point surveys for only a few minutes, so I usually complete those because they’re so short.
2.) Cycle through surveys on your “My Surveys” page by reloading the page and completing the starter questions each time. Just keep cycling through the surveys until you find one that’s worth the time to complete for the amount of points given. If you can’t find one, just try another day.
3.) Respond to sponsored polls when you get the chance. Sure, they’re only 15 points, but they add up over time and only take a few seconds to answer.
4.) Respond to sponsored surveys, which are a bit different from polls and are more like mini-surveys. They only take a minute or less to answer and consist of a few questions. Sometimes they will lead to another survey, but from my experience, I usually rarely qualify because the quota is full so I don’t usually bother going to the longer surveys. You get anywhere from 30-150 points for answering these mini-surveys.
5.) Write your own 80+ word responses to opinion topics. You can earn up to 5,000 points each month for doing so and it can be pretty fun. You earn 100 points for each 80+ word response.
6.) You can also create your own opinion topics or polls to earn points. I myself haven’t done this yet, but I hear the more answers you get to your polls or opinion topics, the more points you get.
7.) Always make sure to keep your interest/profile surveys up to date (this can be said for any survey company, really).
8.) You can refer people to Toluna for 500 points for each person.
9.) Do their surveys in Internet Explorer. I always seem to get errors (especially on surveys with video) when I do them in Firefox, so I always use IE.

So, in summary, Toluna is a pretty good survey company, although they used to be a lot better. They are not in my current top 10 because I don’t get as many good-paying surveys from them anymore compared to what I used to get, but I will continue to stick with them to see how things go. They can be very time-consuming if you don’t get surveys that offer a lot of points regularly and it can take a while to cash out.

I keep a spreadsheet with the dates, surveys completed and points earned and pending. I checked my points recently and found that a huge amount of points were reversed. When I questioned support I was told it was probably because I accidentily closed my account! How can I be logged into my account and viewing my survey history and points if my account was closed? It could also not have been due to inactivity because the reversal happened within days of my last log in.
It is also VERY frustrating to spend time answering survey questions and then 10 minutes later find out I did not qualify. This is also highly questionable due to the fact that the questions are NOT screener questions.
I am not wasting any more of my time on this site.

I'm excluded from MANY of their surveys, I suspect it's because of my age. (I'm 79). They used to be called Greenfield, I was a member of theirs for many years, and they got to where they turned me down more often than not, too. I'm seriously thinking of sending them a Goodbye Note.

Like everyone else here said, they require a HUGE amount of points to cash out. Secondly, their surveys don't work on firefox or chrome, just IE. Thirdly, the benefit is that they have those quick polls and opinion pieces..but it's not really worth it and you're not getting fairly compensated for your time.
