My Review of MyView

MyView points can be redeemed for Visa gift cards which is nice. They send up to 5 survey invites per day but some days you can receive zero. I'm a fan of most survey companies - this one isn't my favorite but it's still worth joining. Just be selective about which surveys to take.

    quality is suffering.

It used to be you would receive your reward in 5-7 business days.(visa).The last 2 took exactly 2 weeks. Now,their fufillment time is 4-6 weeks.I have one going on 6 weeks, don't respond to your questions when you e-mail them.I just cashed in another one while waiting for the last one. That has never happened before.Maybe new management.

    No major issues

MyView is a good survey site. Accumulating points is not difficult and they even offer points if you don't qualify for a particular survey.

    Tough to earn rewards

I used this site alot to earn points, but at the end of the month I would only find myself with barely enough for a 20$ gift card (after many surveys). I also noticed that as your points go up it seems like you have less and less surveys that you qualify for, which is a pretty shady tactic.

    Definitely worth it!

This site has the best payouts by far. You definitely have to work for it, but once you hit your first cashout, you're golden. You get gift cards quickly, and if you have issues during a survey (like getting nearly all the way through and then getting kicked out) you can get in touch with support who will work it out and most of the time they credit your account. Some people say it's hard to get enough points to make it worth it, and you do have to put in the time. But you get what you put into it.

    Love their gift cards

MyView offers a wide range of gift cards for redemption. The surveys are easy and they payout fast. They even give away points for survey disqualifications which is amazing. I have no problems with MyView.

    Plenty of invites

One thing I like most about MyView is the number of invitations for taking surveys. Unfortunately I qualify only for about half of them. Nevertheless I made decent money from them and the pay is fair. It's also easy to rake up points.

    Good Survey Panel

One of my best friends recommended this survey site to me. I was a bit reluctant initially but decided to give it a shot because I had nothing to lose. I have received multiple gift cards since then and I am getting addicted to it.

    Pretty sound site overall

I haven't had any major issues with the site. I get disqualified from some surveys and it would be a lot better if I were able to complete more, but they do pay you for even trying which is nice. Once you earn enough to cash out they pretty quickly, it just takes a while to earn enough.

    Support

I have emailed My View several times about a problem I have been having when I go to do surveys which is stopping me from doing surveys and earning points. I have even emailed them at their email address and I have never heard back from them. This has been going on for a while now and I am wondering what is going on with them. They keep sending me survey invitations but I am still unable to do them. I need their help to resolve this issue but they never respond. Not happy because I'd like to earn some more points so I can at least get a gift voucher and not feel that it has been a complete waste of my time. Come on My View answer your customers emails.

    WHERE ARE THE BUCKS?

I noticed that alot of the paid surveys claim to pay good money , but I really don't see it! I mean some of them want you to work your tail off for next to nothing ! What happened to the millions of dollars that the corporations pay out? I don't plan on getting rich but I don't think its too much to ask for more than a penny a minute. Be sure to guestimate the length of surveys properly , I had 1 say it was 15 mins.,I was on there for 25 mins. and the progress bar was about 30% completed. Thats pretty off on timing if you ask me. I HOPE I FIND A HONEST AND FAIR CITE ,BECAUSE I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE SOME REAL MONEY FOR A CHANGE! YACK OUT GODBLESS SHALOM!

I have been a member of myview since 2010. I have seen both the good and the bad. In 2010 I would get 2 or 3 7000 point surveys a month and now they are almost non existent. Every survey I do is for from 400-2000 and when you figure that payout is 35000 for a visa gift card it takes at least 35 surveys for cash out. The time involved is rough and while they havent changed the cost of their rewards they have changed survey points. When you figure a 20 min survey for 800 points it will take 44 surveys to hit 35000 multiply 44x20 for the suggested time 880 minutes or 37 complete days.. WOW even if you could do every available survey that works out to less than a dollar a day. If my math is wrong I am sorry but its fairly close and takes a long time.

I've been a member for over a year and up until now have never experienced any problems redeeming points for giftcards. I ordered 2 Gamestop giftcards in Feb. of this year, it is now July and I still have not gotten them (I received 1, but it arrived with a $0 balance)! I've emailed them several times, but just keep getting the run around. Someone named Jordan just responds, saying they are waiting to hear from the vendor. What kind of customer service is this??

At this time, I don't feel the rewards are quite that great from MyView. An earlier posting mentioned that most of their $25 value gift cards are at about $1 per 1400 points give or take a few. That seems to still be true. So their top-line 7000 point surveys are worth $5. And a typical 700 quickie is worth 50 cents. Even striking out on 5 surveys will still yield 50 cents. All that is pretty good! But, only IF you like the sparse selection of choices to redeem your points for. My issue is that there is no longer any option for Paypal, a check, Amazon or even that prepaid Visa card (even though their FAQ page says it is available). They once had these choices, but, for whatever reason, seem to have dropped them. GetPaidSurveys.com Reply: The Amazon and Visa card options are still available, but are on an odd system where they only purchase a certain number for the month, and once those are "sold out" they are not available until they are restocked (usually in a month). Of course, once they ARE restocked, they tend to become "sold out" again within a day or two. I do NOT like this system, but if you know the way it works, you can check back often and can usually cash out for your preferred reward. (I cashed out for Amazon.com gift cards this past month). -Hannah

In a little over a year and a half, I've earned nearly 400 dollars. There's usually 3-5 surveys per day for me, and I qualify for nearly half of them. The 125 points goes a long way toward that goal. I find myself quite antsy when I'm near a payout goal. I qualify for the 7000 pointers because of my job. A little extra money aint too bad for a middle to upper class guy like me.

1400 points= $1. They minimum payout for a gift card worth getting is $25, 35000 points. You get about 5 surveys a week and qualify for about 2 of them. A fair site. There are many gift cards to chose from, at least one for everyone.

i am a member of a few different survey site, but this one is definitely the best. They send me surveys about twice a week, and usually there are one or two additional ones waiting whenever i log on to the site. The surveys are long, but they are worth it and they have good rewards. 21000 points seems like a lot, but it adds up quickly and even if you don't qualify for the survey, if you answer the qualifying questions you get 125 points. i haven't cashed out yet, though, but only because i am saving them for the $50 visa gift card

I joined MyView a month ago, at the recommendation of this panel. I thought I would give my initial impressions, as this site is so much different than others I use. When I joined, there were a number of immediate benefits. Filling out the various profiles all gave reward points (11 profiles x 350 points each = 3850 points) , and after successfully completing 5 surveys, I was awarded another 5,000 reward points. All of this meant that I was able to get to the level to cash out fairly quickly, which was nice, though it will now take much longer to do so again. The point system is different than any other survey panel I use. Instead of a nice standard measurement of so many points equaling a dollar (such as 1,000 points = $1), this site has various rewards that are worth different point values. The most common rewards seem to be about 1,400 points = $1, but depending on the reward chosen, it might be more or less. There are a large variety of different gift cards available from various stores, such as Sears or ThinkGeek, as well as options to cash out for Amazon.com rewards or Visa prepaid credit cards. However, this rewards system is definitely a store, and the most popular rewards sell out and are unavailable for large portions of the time. They do seem to come back eventually, but if you are like me and like to cash out the instant you reach the cash out level, you will be disappointed. As far as the surveys themselves, this panel is also different in that the majority of the surveys you get are by logging in and checking to see if something is available. They do send occasional emails to say that a survey is there, but I often find that when I click the link, the survey has already reached its goals, even if the email arrived only a few minutes before. Most of the time when I log in, there are no surveys available, so I check again later. I have found that if I obsessively click the "My survey" tab (which checks if surveys are available), I am likely to find a survey has become available in the few minutes since I checked the last time. However, the screening of MySurvey is definitely not the best. I disqualify from over half of the surveys I am offered. They do give 125 points for disqualifying, but at the aforementioned 1,400 points per dollar, that works out to less than 9 CENTS. Not a very good return for your time. On the plus side, surveys are very frequently available (if you keep trying), so I am already almost halfway to cashing out again. That means that in a month's time, I have earned almost $30 from this survey company. The surveys I have taken so far range in point values from 350 and 500 (most common) to 1400 (twice) and 2100 (once). At the aforementioned 1400 pts per dollar, this is $0.25, $0.36, $1.00, and $1.50. Not exactly very high paying surveys, but the sheer number of them does help. In addition, most have been very quick to complete. Many have been short 5 or 10 minute surveys. And if you want to try to take more surveys, you can log on and do so, or you can just wait for the emails and just take those ones. You don't have to spend all your time on the site if you don't want to, which is a nice option to have. Their support does seem to be fairly good. I had a couple of questions which were answered. It did take a couple of tries to get all of the detail I needed, but I was able to keep the thread of the question in the email and correspond with what appeared to be the same customer service representative, and answers were extremely quick in getting back to me. An oddity of the site: when you look at your survey history, initially the surveys you have taken most recently are at the top of the page, with older surveys beneath. This changes when you have filled the page with surveys. Instead of the most recent being on the first page, the most recent surveys are then on the LAST page. But the pages retain their structure of having the most recent on that page be at the top. So, in my case, page 1 has surveys from October 8th at the top and September 21st at the bottom, but page 2 has surveys from today at the top, and October 8th at the bottom. This was a bit confusing at first, as all other survey sites I use have the oldest surveys drop off the bottom and roll over to the last page. Also, the surveys all have cutesy titles, like "Let's Do This!" or "Survey for the Ladies!" and often the survey titles have nothing to do with the subject of the survey itself. I find this confusing as well. I'll keep trying this survey panel for a while and see what happens. I did also recently take a survey asking for suggestions on the survey and reward system, so I think they may be evaluating and looking to make things better.

I joined because I read really good reviews about MyView. I get emails periodically about surveys, but when I come to MyView, it usually says that there is no survey available. Or, it will say there is a new survey, and EVERY TIME I fill out the qualifying questions, it says I didn't qualify. I have been a member for 6 months, and I have had 3 surveys (none within the last 3 months). I am very disappointed with MyView. Don't join, it's a waste of time.

I joined in April 2011 and I have cashed out 4 times for a total of $60. When you join there are plenty profiles to fill out for 350 points each. The profiles to me don’t really serve a purpose other than to get points for filling them out. I still get a lot of surveys that don’t even apply to me. But once you complete 5 surveys you get 5,000 points as a bonus. 1,400 points equals $1.00, so I use the point scale to see if surveys are worth my time. I get a lot of surveys that are 15 minutes for 350 points ($0.25). Those surveys I disqualify on purpose to get to the next survey to see if its time worthy. You get 125 points every time you disqualify from a survey. There are plenty of higher paying surveys though. The most points I’ve gotten for completing a survey was 14,000 points for a 20 minute survey. When it’s time to cashout the rewards are gift cards for variety of stores like Old Navy, Gamestop, Kohls, etc. Most of the cashouts start at $25, but the points to get the gift cards vary. For example a $25 gift card at Old Navy is 34,160 points, but a $25 at Gamestop is 35,210 points. So depending on what reward you want the value of the points can differ. I choose $15 Amazon gift cards for 21,000 points, so 1,400 points is $1.00. But if I did $15 iTunes gift card for 22,500 points, now 1,500 points is $1.00. It’s strange, but doesn’t bother me too much. I get a lot of surveys about magazines and movie previews. I don’t wait for them to e-mail me about surveys, I just log in and check to see if I have any surveys. I get e-mails for surveys, but I can click on the link literally 2 seconds after I receive the e-mail and the survey is full or I don’t qualify. It gets old really fast. So I depend more on logging onto their site and keep clicking on the ‘mysurveys’ tab to see if any surveys pop up. I haven’t had any problems with them. All the surveys I have taken credit immediately after I finish them. When I do cashout, I get the gift card electronically within an hour. I love how fast they are with their payments. Overall MyView is great and I would recommend them.

I've been a member of MyView for about a month now and so far, I love the fact that, for each profile survey you fill out, you receive 350 MVP's! This can give you a pretty good head start to winning one of your first rewards. However, I wouldn't get your hopes up every single time you receive a survey invitation because after you log in, they may tell you that you don't qualify for it anymore. This has only been happening to me recently, though. Lastly, if I have a question that isn't addressed in the FAQ's, then I'll shoot them a quick message and they'll respond immediately. So, in short, I'd recommend MyView.

I have been a member for two weeks now and have received only 4 survey opportunities, 1 which I did not qualify for, 1 that was full, and 2 were the exact same survey. It wouldn't bother me as much if I earned more points for at least trying to take the survey. I didn't even get to take the beginner survey because there was a technical difficulty and MyView does not cover this. I've filled out all of the personal info but that hasn't affected anything. Considering I check MyView THREE TIMES A DAY, I'd say it's pretty pathetic I have a little over 6000 points.

Also the rewarding system is excellent when comparing to the other survey panels . My View surveys ranges from 300 points to 4500 points or even more at times. It is highly appreciative that it provides 125 points for every screened out survey and it is also very easy to attain the minimum redemption amount, 21000 points. As per my experience it is possible to earn 21000 points within a week , if done sincerely. Totally it is a well paid panel, loyal too.

Although the site seemed to start out strong by giving you easy surveys about yourself which you could complete for points, those are all I've really had the opportunity to do. Today I FINALLY qualified for a survey worth 7,000 points but the add-on did not run on my computer so it screened me out and I didn't even get my initial 125 qualifying points. While MyView's surveys aren't as boring as some of the other sites', it doesn't seem very worth it to me. There are many other sites that I would recommend before this one.

I know the 21000 points seems like a high goal, but you will reach it in no time. Like I said, after five days, I am already at about 14000 points. The surveys are very frequent. They can be kind of boring, but the points for each one are usually very high, and even if you do not qualify, they still credit you with some points. I haven't had any issues with the site/rewards so I have not used the support area. I would and have recommended this site.

... so far. MyView has pretty easy sign-ups and the over-all site is NOT a scam. Very safe and secure, it has no virus threats (checked it out with my internet security system). As far as the surveys, there are around 10 starter surveys that help the site pick out the best surveys for you. These starters DO give you points so by the end of the sign-up you have around 4,000 MVP (MVPs are MyView points). So far, I haven't recieved any other surveys but I have only been a member for a day. This site shows promise with frequent surveys though. The rewards are, as far as I can tell, legit. It's bascially all gift cards but the gift cards are to places people *actually* go to (ex. GameStop, Amazon, American Eagle Outfitters, iTunes ect). I haven't had any problems yet so I haven't had to contact Member Support but their FAQ is very helpful. If you have any questions, I suggest you go there! :) Finally, the starter suveys ask legit questions and it's easy and actually kind of fun to do some of their suveys. I suggest to every to join this secure, easy and rewarding survey site!

I've been a member for a couple of days but so far i already have a bunch of points :) The surveys are a little boring at times but otherwise i've extremely enjoyed it. Its super easy to use.

MyView is one of the handful of survey panels that I've added to my "visit every day" list. Like Surveyhead and Toluna, they add new surveys throughout the day, and I find that there are many more opportunities waiting for me on the MyView dashboard than by email invites alone. I have a high percentage of qualifying for surveys offered; but MyView even awards 125 points for surveys you attempt and screen out of, so it's never a waste of time. I've only had to contact MyView once about a survey problem, and had it satisfactorily resolved within 48 hours, which is very encouraging. The only thing a bit frustrating about this site is the rewards system. The rewards offered take a varying range of points, so it can be difficult to tell exactly how much you're earning. If you go by the reward that offers the most value for the points - the $25 Restaurant.com gift code for 5,000 - you find that 100 points equals $0.50. But if you go for one of the more popular (and perhaps more useful) offers - like the $25 pre-paid Visa for 35,000 points - now it takes 700 points to equal $0.50. To add to the confusion, look at the $50 Restaurant.com gift code. It costs 21,000 points - over four times as many points than the gift code of half it's value! The rewards system definitely has some kinks that need to be worked out. In spite of the somewhat strange points system, I find that I earn a small chunk of change on MyView almost everyday, and am looking forward to my next pre-paid Visa!

MyView has a completely redesigned website and points program that is much more user friendly. They are currently my 11th best paid survey site with $136 in earnings since March 2009. You will note that I registered with all of my other best survey sites in 2008, so $136 in one year is not bad at all. Sadly, MyView no longer offers PayPal, but you can select a $25 prepaid VISA debit card for 35,000 points. Points are worth about $0.007 cents each (less than a penny) and survey rewards are 125 ($0.88), 350 ($2.45), 500 ($3.50) up to 7000 ($5) points for most surveys. Most of the higher paying surveys are for CEOs or those employed in the IT sector. You can also redeem your points for $15 Busted Tees (21000) or $25 Restaurant.com gift cards (5000), but I find these to be less desirable than the prepaid VISA debit cards that can be used at all online merchants, such as Amazon. Many surveys are available every single day by visiting the website and clicking on the My Surveys tab.
