Socratic Forum
Socratic Forum is an online research community where members can participate in web-based surveys on the latest technologoies, software, e-commerce innovations, and many other topics dealing with the global economy. The Socratic forum is a product of Socratic Technologies, a full service market research agency that was established in 1994.
How to Earn Money with the Socratic Forum
- Get started by joining the Socratric Forum.
- After joining you will you receive survey invitations via email.
- Then just take the surveys that are sent. Most surveys pay anywhere from $3 to $5 for completing a survey, and can be completed in 20 minutes or less. If you attempt but do not qualify for a survey you are still entered into the monthly drawing to win $100.
Payment Terms
- $5 minimum required before you can redeem your earnings via the member’s area.
- Your balance can be claimed in the form of a cash via a personal check or an Amazon Gift Certificate. Amazon E-Gift certificates are usually processed within two weeks, while checks can take four to six weeks for delivery.
Conclusion
Socratic Forum offers good compensation for the effort required to complete their surveys. The only complaint may be that they do not offer
frequent survey invitations, however it takes less than 5 minutes to join, and should be a nice addition to your survey panel portfolio.

Socratic Forum is a good survey site. The frequency of surveys is a bit slow. Sometimes payments can take some time as they seem to pay quarterly. Below are my paymeny proofs,

i cahsed out for my 15.00 5 weeks ago and no check yet. i also was taken out of the system after cashing out. i called the forum and they put me back in. my question is this common for them to do this. i was recieving surveys pretty regularly at first; now none have coma across my inbox for at least 5 weeks. dont bother asking where your payment is because you wont get much of a response.

I have been a member of Socratic Forum since April 2009.They send surveys by email,and although they don’t send lots of surveys,they are steady.I receive two or three survey invitations per month and most of them reward $3-$5,Seldom $1-$2.They also send surveys for a chance to win a sweepstakes.I don’t like to take any sweepstakes surveys,Wasting my time.The most exciting survey I got recently was a chance to join another panel called Healthy Beverage Innovation Panel reward $10 amazon gift certificates.
I have earned $55 total since then.Here is my reward survey history:

I’ve been a member of Socratic Forum for about 6 months and have only completed 1 survey for $3 so far. They have probably sent me about 15 or 20 survey invitations since I joined and I have only qualified for 1. It’s possible that they are looking for demographics that I just don’t meet but I am sticking with them since their cashout threshold is fairly low (I only need $2 more to redeem a $5 check). The one survey that I completed was pretty interesting and $3 is decent (compared to other sites). I was alerted after only a few minutes of answering questions that I didn’t qualify for most of the other surveys so that wasn’t too bad. I wouldn’t recommend this site since it pays out so little.

I have been with socratic forum for about two years. they sporadically send out surveys. i have earned only about $50 over 2 years. about a month ago i cashed out for !0 amazon gc. I am currently stilol waiting for it to arrive. They generally are a very good survey site, but would like a faster payout.

I signed up for this panel about four months ago…and while I’ve only gotten 10 surveys since joining, I’ve completed four of them for a total of $9 so far. Socratic Forum isn’t a frequent survey panel, but I’ve found that the surveys generally pay around $3.00 each (though some are just for sweepstakes only), and only take up about 10 to 15 minutes. So while you won’t get rich from this site, it’s definitely worth your while to join for the occasional paycheck – especially since there seems to be a relatively high rate of qualifying, and a low pay-out threshold of only $5.00.

It is easy to forget you are a member of Socratic Forum. I have been a member for nearly three years. My only complaint is the frequency of surveys. I am lucky if I get a survey invite once a week. I have completed a grand total of about 25 surveys for $76 during my membership. Incentives range from $1 to $5, but I did complete one for $10. The amount offered for a survey is fair for the amount of time invested. Incentive checks arrive in a timely fashion. You must have at least $5 in your account before you cash out. You can choose between receiving cash or an Amazon gift certificate. I have been fairly happy with Socratic Forum and encourage you to give them shot.
