Consumer Village
Consumer Village is a product of Gongos Research, one of leading market research companies. Consumer Village in online research community that was launched in 2007 as a way for companies to experience there online research communities. Members participate in surveys, dialogues, online focus groups and forum interactions in exchange for tokens which can be redeemed for prizes. Consumer village has a unique reward system that rewards you at a higher rate the more you actively participate in a moderator-topic or survey.
How to Earn Rewards with Consumer Village
- Get started by joining Consumer Village. The registration process takes about 10 to 15 minutes. Be sure to read all the questions carefully.
- After registering, you will receive a confirmation email from cpeterson@gongos.com that gives you instructions on how to create a username and password.
- Once you have obtained a username and password, be sure to login to the members area and complete your user profiles. This will increase your chances of receiving paid sponsored surveys and dialogues.
- You can find the current open surveys and dialogues in the members area. Consumer village pays you in tokens which can be redeemed for Amazon gift certificates.
Payment Terms
- The minimum tokens required to redeem for Amazon Gift card is 500 tokens / $5. However that rate increases as your participation increases. For instance, 5000 tokens yields a cumulative earnings of $75. Plus they donate $0.25 per 500 points redeemed for charity.
- Incentives are calculated at the end of every calendar month and dispersed via email by the 15th of the following month.
- In addition they have a monthly sweepstakes where they award 30 $10 prizes. Each time you respond to a new sponsored topic in Consumer Village, you will earn Tokens towards the sweepstakes. The number of Tokens you earn is the number of entries you will have in their sweepstakes.
Conclusion
Consumer Village is an interesting community that allows you to take interesting surveys, interact with other members, and earn tokens redeemable for Amazon gift certificates.

Worthwhile Survey Site!
My information on Consumer Village, which is powered by Gongos Metacommunity, is limited because I have only received one $5 Amazon gift card so far for reaching the 1000 token level; however, they did pay me $100 via check for an Invoke Interactive earlier this year, which places them 21st among my active survey sites with $105 received.
Consumer Village uses a token-based system to determine the incentive amount Villagers will receive. Every time you hit a new Token Payout Level (1000 = $5, 2000 = $15, 5000 = $20, 6000 = $15, 10,000 = $50) you will receive an Amazon gift card via email for the specified amount. The amount of your incentive is calculated based upon your participation level. Since your Tokens never expire, every time you participate in a sponsored dialogue, poll or survey adds to your Token total and counts toward the Token Payout Levels. Once you reach 10,000 Tokens you start back at the top of the incentive chart. For example: there will be a $5 payout at 10,500 Tokens, a $5 payout at 11,000, and a $15 payout at 12,000, etc.
Surveys are worth from 20 to 150 tokens and open surveys are shown on the website at: http://village.gongos.com/ . Occasionally they will send you an email invitation, but it’s probably best to check out the website fairly often.
There is also a forum for discussing various topics, but I have not yet participated and I am also not sure if there are incentives involved. Here is the link: http://village.gongos.com/forums/ . I like the site because unlike some other sites, they email me when a survey is ready for me to take (so I don’t have to login to the site too frequently). At least half of the time I qualify and the other times they at least award 10 or 20 tokens for attempting the survey. I’m not even sure how many tokens I have accumulated so far but I doubt it is enough for anything since I haven’t taken too many surveys. The surveys aren’t too frequent but they are interesting for the most part and they pay a fair amount. I would definitely recommend this site.
