I totally agree with Carrigon. Instead of gotcha questions, they should just come out with whom exactly they're looking for to fill the currently available spaces; and it really seems like the screeners have taken over in the last couple of years. For example, Focus Pointe Global really makes you dance through hoops only to reject you in the end; maybe it's the economy and one of those "We're not in the 90s anymore" scenarios (those were GREAT times to go down to live sessions, eat a catered wrap, and get a Grant or Franklin at the end). But what's newly ticked me off are these surveys offered by Grooveshark for points that can be redeemed for premium membership; if you don't qualify you get this message: "Your survey answers have been disqualified based on a suspicious answer pattern." EXCUSE ME??? What, because, for example, a 45-year-old Black man who shaves 2 times in 7 days MUST BE LYING??? That's ridiculous!

Unfortunately, survey panels that redirect surveys from survey routers sometimes have issues like this. Especially, panels that exclusively get their surveys from the daily survey suppliers. Generally, if you track your surveys, and contact the panel that sent you the survey, you can get your issue resolved if you are dealing with some of the better survey panels. It really depends on the quality of the survey panel, their tracking abilities, and their level of customer service. By having the review system our site, our goal is to help individuals interested in taking surveys online find good panels to join.

Which survey panel did you have the issue with?

I did a survey this week for a company that farms you out through the survey router. I spent over 40 minutes on the survey, I had been told that I would get five dollars and fifty cents if I qualified and completed it. Well, I qualified. I spent the time on it, I got to the last question of the survey, and then I was told "sorry, this survey is closed". No way. You don't have someone spend over forty minutes on a survey to tell them it's closed at the end. I truly believe some of these companies are shady and just don't want to pay anyone. I also had another one last month where I finished the whole survey and when I got to the end, it said something in what looked like Spanish and that was it. I never got credited for it. I've had quite a few surveys in the last few months where you put the time in, you get all the way to the end and you get killed. I don't care what anyone says, there are shady companies out there. It's a little too suspicious when it happens at the very end of a survey.

I've also had a few surveys that were just way too long and they will show you something, then ask you questions that have nothing to do with what they showed you, then another twenty minutes later they expect you to remember what they first showed you.
