American Consumer Opinion Information
American Consumer Opinion panel is owned and operated by Decision Analyst, Inc., an international market research firm which is headquartered in Dallas, Texas. American Consumer Opinion Survey Panel accepts residents from all nations, and rewards its members with cash in exchange for participating in online surveys.
Membership to their panel is free, and they pay cash for each survey you complete. Plus, all registered members are entered into a monthly drawings for cash awards.
How to Earn Money with American Consumer Opinion
- Get started by completing the online registration process. You should receive an email within 24 hours letting confirming your registration.
- After joining you can expect to receive a short “screener” survey every six weeks or so. These short surveys generally contain less than 15 questions, and are used to determine whether your demographics match up with the topic of the survey. If you are not chosen to complete the complete survey study, you are still entered into drawing for cash rewards.
- If you are chosen to continue on with the survey study, you will receive a series of more detailed questions about your opinions, your experiences, types of products you use, etc. In exchange for completing the full survey, you will be paid anywhere from $4 to $50. The offered amount is usually proportional to the length of time the study takes.
Payment Terms
- You can request your earnings via the member’s panel once you have at least $10 in your account.
- Payments can be redeemed via Check. Payments can take three to four weeks for delivery.
- Members outside of the US and Canada will usually receive a cheque in their currency. For those countries that are unable to receive these types of cheques an American Express gift cheque is sent instead. International Delivery can take four to six weeks.
Conclusion
While American Consumer Opinion may not have as many survey offerings as some of the other panels, they do pay well for each completed survey and they offer PayPal payments.

Great surveys, but infrequent
ACOP is one of the best survey site available: the quality is great, as are the rewards. Unfortunately, the frequency of their surveys is low. I usually receive 1 – 3 invitations per month.
GOOD COMPANY
I get several surveys a week from this company. I usually receive a short 2-3 minute pre-qualifying survey wiith a sweepstake entry or cash incentive before the actual survey is sent. The quality and subjects are interesting and not too long. Those that I have completed, I enjoyed.
NOT GOOD
I’ve been with American Consumer for a couple of years and have only made $15.
I get surveys once every 6 months or longer.
I have great responses from most other paid sites, but not them.
excellent compensation,but few surveys
I’ve been a member for about 3 months now and during the first 2 weeks I’ve recieved 2 paid surveys. one of which was a 2 part survey worth $15 and the other was worth $5.00.
I’ve recieved my $20.00 check in less than 2 weeks,which was much quicker than I had expected. Then after that, I just quit recieving any paid surveys. I have, however recieved a couple of screener surveys that put you into a drawing. I do hope to recieve more paid surveys in the near future because the ones I have recieved were fun and interesting and paid well.
Infrequent - but very good.
I will agree that I get 1-3 invites a month. However last year I got the best home product test ever from ACOP. I qualified to try a top-of-the-line kitchen item that I’ve seen many TV chefs use on their programs – something that would retail for $100, and ACOP paid me $80 to try it for a few months, and I got to keep it. Later ACOP emailed me to ask if I wanted to send back my item, get a new replacement item in return, and be paid another $15! What a deal!
Where is Paypal?
I have been a member since last year and got paid very well.I receive survey invites almost every week,and qualify 50% of the invites.That is so nice to me.
Unfortunately I dont find paypal payment option in my account. Am I wrong? Additionally I love PTs in the site.
Very Good and Consistent
This has been one of the survey sites that has continually blessed our missional reformed evangelical movement called Oasis. We are thankful.
ACOP is very slow, but steady
Although a very legitimate survey site that sends occasional surveys, ACOP is one of the slow, but steady earners on my list, coming in at #20 with just $97 earned since March 2008. They only send checks and I can’t remember the last time I received a check from them. You cannot take surveys by logging in online and they only track your current earnings, not total earnings, and have no record of surveys taken or credited. Terrible Customer Service
I signed up for American Consumer and never received any survey offers. I proceeded to try to login to my account to see what happened but my login did not work. I emailed support and they couldn’t explain why my account was deleted but they said I could try to sign up again. I signed up again and the same exact thing happened so I messaged them once more. They still had no good answer for me. After attempting (and failing) to join for the 3rd time I gave up. Maybe other people have had better luck but I definitely would not recommend joining this site.

I havn’t been subscribed with them long although i have heard only good things about ACO. Actually that was why i signed upi with them.
1 survey about every 2 to 3 months
Ive been with them for about 2 years and I have only got in my account $16.00 what a waste of time . I better cash out before they delete my account.
High paying, but very infrequent.
I’ve been a member of ACOP for 8 months, and have only received 16 survey invitations from them in that amount of time, and have gone on to complete eight screeners (which were just a few questions and unpaid, of course), and finally have only completed one survey. However, that survey was less than 15 minutes long, and rewarded $5.00. So while a very infrequent panel, and even more difficult to qualify for, for those few surveys you do manage to complete, you are compensated well. I’m giving this one a bit more time to see if I can make that $10 cash-out limit.
Great Company
They don’t overload your inbox daily. Just a few surveys, not too much or not too many. They are so help too, I called and got a real person and emailed Anne Parks and she replied back the same day!
Great Opportunity and Benefits!
I have been a member of ACOP for almost 2 years now and have really enjoyed the surveys and product testing I have been offered. They have all been interesting and worth giving my opinion. I was so pleased, that I have passed the information on to a family member and a couple of friends. They have all joined and are enjoying the benefits too! Hoping to continue to receive more offers to participate in additional surveys!
